The Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM) meet on the second Saturday of every month throughout the year at 8:30 am in the Fellowship hall for activity planning, devotions and fellowship.
We invite all the men of A Mighty Fortress to join us! We would like to thank all the men that come out each Saturday and all the people of the congregation that support us through the year. In 2011, the Lutheran Men in Mission kept busy in the work of Christ. In February, we sponsored the Valentine Sweetheart dinner, in April we made breakfast for the congregation on Easter Sunday, and in May the LMM conducted a worship service and had the first of two BBQ’s. Over the summer we took donations for air conditioners for needy families and for tornado damage relief. Church property maintenance work was a priority project in the fall. We had our second BBQ in October, and several members relocated the church sanctuary communion rail for improved access and added choir space. Members helped with the Fellowship Hall painting in November. We look forward to doing similar activities again this year and invite all men to come out on the second Saturday of each month for breakfast and fellowship!
